as State AD of Year for
2006

Pete Miller, the athletic director at Merrill High
School,
was chosen as the State’s Athletic Director of the Year
for 2006.
The prestigious award was
presented during the 40th annual
WADA Workshop in
Appleton. Almost 400 athletic
directors from all around Wisconsin plus nearly 100 vendors from the state and
midwest were on hand for the annual
state convention.
Miller received a plaque to honor his selection as the
organization’s top AD award recipient during the
WADA
Awards Luncheon sponsored by Healy.

Bill Vickroy CAA of Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln High School
assumed the duties of President of the
WADA during the final day of the 40th annual WADA Workshop, which was held in

Vice President
|
|
|
|
Greg Smith CMAA of West De Pere High School was chosen as
the WADA Vice President
in voting by the WADA membership during the recently-completed WADA Workshop.

Districts elect new Reps,
new Middle School Liaison elected
|
|
|
|
Elections were held in three
Districts (2-4-6) at the respective Fall Caucus meetings in November
plus the Middle School Liaison was elected during a caucus at the Paper
Valley Hotel. The voting
resulted in the following being elected by members to serve the WADA:
