as State AD of Year for
2007

Kevin Knudson, the athletic director at Barneveld High
School, was chosen as the State’s Athletic Director
of the Year for 2007.
The prestigious award was
presented during the 41st annual
WADA Workshop in
Appleton. Almost 400 athletic
directors from all around Wisconsin plus nearly 100 vendors from the state
and midwest were on hand for the annual
state convention.
Knudsen received a plaque to honor his selection as
the organization’s top AD award recipient during the
WADA
Awards Luncheon sponsored by Healy.

Mike Neary CAA takes over
as WADA President
|

|
Mike Neary CAA of Edgerton High School assumed the duties
of President of the WADA during the final day of the 41st annual WADA
Workshop, which was held in Appleton in November.

Linzi Gronning CMAA is new
WADA Vice President
|
|
|
|
Linzi Gronning CMAA of Holmen High School was chosen as
the WADA Vice President in voting
by the WADA membership during the recently-completed WADA Workshop.

Districts elect new
District Reps & Gender Reps,
new Gender Liaison elected to WADA Board
|
|
|
|
Elections were held in
four Districts (1-3-5-7) at the respective Fall Caucus meetings in November
plus the Gender Liaison was elected during a caucus at the Paper Valley
Hotel. The voting resulted
in the following being elected by members to serve the WADA:
