Wisconsin. About 400-450 athletic
administrators, and numerous vendors,
will be on hand for the
41st annual Workshop.

WADA VICE PRESIDENT TO BE ELECTED
The position of Vice President with the WADA will be voted upon during the
41st annual WADA Workshop to be held this November at the Paper Valley Hotel
in downtown Appleton. There is
one individual who filed the paperwork by the
deadline for the position; she was asked submit some basic info that the
membership
could review:

LANCE ALLEN OF WTMJ 4 TV IS MASTER OF CEREMONIES
FOR WADA AWARDS LUNCHEON SPONSORED BY HEALY
Lance Allen, the sports director at WTMJ 4 TV in Milwaukee, will serve
as the Master of Ceremonies for the WADA
Awards Luncheon sponsored
by Healy. The luncheon will
be held on Monday, Nov. 5, starting at 12:30 p.m.

DICK BENNETT TO SPEAK AT FCA BREAKFAST
The guest speaker at the Fellowship
of Christian Athletes Breakfast during the
WADA Workshop at the Paper Valley Hotel in Appleton will be Dick Bennett.
Now retired, Bennett has been a
basketball coach for more than 35 years,
including the men’s basketball coach at the University of Wisconsin in
Madison
as well at UW-Green Bay, at
UW-Stevens Point, and several high schools in
Wisconsin. A Clintonville native, he retired
following the 2005-06 season after
coaching at Washington State

KEYNOTE SPEAKERS ANNOUNCED FOR WADA WORKSHOP
Bruce Brown and Brian Cain, two nationally-known individuals, each will be
the
keynote speaker at each of two sessions for the statewide Wisconsin Athletic
Directors Association convention to be held in Appleton.
Brown, director of Proactive Coaching in Seattle, Washington, and Cain,
director of Brian Cain Peak Performance in Richmond, Vermont, will speak
when the 41st annual WADA Workshop takes place Nov. 4-5-6, 2007 at
the Radisson Paper Valley Hotel.

There are six individuals who will be recipients of the first-ever WADA
Scholarship, a $500 award, during the 2007 WADA Workshop.
