Vice President Election – during 2007 WADA Workshop

The position of Vice President with the WADA will be elected during the 41st annual
WADA Workshop to be held Nov. 4-5-6, 2007, at the Paper Valley Hotel in Appleton.
There is one individual who filed the paperwork by the deadline for the position:

It is a 4-year commitment to the WADA, as the person selected by the

WADA membership will serve one year each, in order, as Vice President,

President Elect, President, and Past President.

The election will take place during the WADA Annual Meeting, which will

start at 9 o’clock Tuesday morning, Nov. 6. Pam Huston of Wausau West

High School will preside over the election. The individual selected will start

serving as an officer on the WADA Executive Board, effective with the two

meetings held immediately after the Wind-up Luncheon during the Workshop.

Formal nomination for the VP position will be on Sunday afternoon, Nov. 4,

during the Opening Session of the 2007 WADA Workshop. The person

making the nomination plus the person offering a second will each be welcome

to speak briefly regarding their candidate.

Then, the VP candidate will briefly address the membership from the podium

during the WADA Annual Meeting on Tuesday morning, Nov. 6.

There also will be an election, also during the WADA’s Annual Meeting,
of NIAAA Voting Delegates for the national convention.
