Each year, the WADA will annually present up to 6 scholarships of $500.00 each
to a son or daughter of a current WADA member, and the graduating senior has
been accepted to post-secondary institution.

The deadline for 2009 applications is a postmark of April 1, 2009. Submit all

application materials, in a large envelope, via mail to:

Recipients will be recognized at the WADA Annual Meeting, which is held during
the annual WADA Workshop – to be held in Wisconsin Dells in November, 2009.
The student-athlete need not be present at the WADA Workshop. Payment of
the scholarship will be made as outlined in the application packet.

Note that the WADA Scholarship Program is entirely DIFFERENT from the
NIAAA Scholarship Program.

         Names of the recipients are always announced via the LATEST NEWS page.

Complete details and the application materials regarding the WADA Scholarship Program
are available via the link below, in a several-page PDF file. Until the current year packet is
posted, you can review the latest packet – but – remember some aspects may be modified
slightly from the initial years of the WADA Scholarship Program. Please carefully check
the info regarding the scholarships – to be sure that applicants meet all of the requirements
as outlined. The current year Application Packed is typically posted here by late January.

Once application materials are received by the WADA Information Director, an e-mail
confirmation will be sent to the candidate’s athletic director.
