PAC Shows – Nov. 4 & 7-12  ---  during the 2006 WADA Workshop


There are two options at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center
 in conjunction with the 2006 WADA Workshop:

   -  MAMMA MIA!   (a Broadway show at the PAC)

   -  ROMEO & JULIET   (violinist, Fox Valley Symphony)

The facility is located just 1 block west of the Paper Valley Hotel,
the site of the WADA Workshop.

 

MAMMA MIA!        starts Tuesday, Nov. 7


Some of the best Broadway shows are hitting the road for the 2006-2007 season
and making their way to the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center in Appleton…
including a special engagement of Mamma Mia! on Nov. 7-12.

Tickets will likely go very quickly for this event, held at the PAC in downtown Appleton,
just one block west of the Paper Valley Hotel – the site of the WADA Workshop.
The smash hit musical is based on the songs of ABBA.

Over 20 million people all around the world have fallen in love with the characters,
the story and the music that make Mamma Mia! the ultimate feel-good show!
The story-telling magic of ABBA’s timeless songs propels this enchanting tale of love,

Tickets: $43 - $73.

Event Status: Groups of 20 or more can order tickets by calling (920) 730-3786.
Only group ticket sales or season tickets are available, as of May 2006, for this
event.  Individual tickets should be available in the fall via (920) 730-3760 or
the Performing Arts Center web site ticket sales.

BARBER: Violin Concerto, Op. 14.
PROKOFIEV: Romeo and Juliet, Suite No. 2.
SMETANA: The Moldau.

Shakespeare takes center stage in Prokofiev's dramatic expression of love, intimacy and
passion between Romeo and Juliet. The Barber Violin Concerto, striking in its lyricism,
is the perfect companion for this evening of romance as performed by a rising star,
Timothy Fain.  Violinist Timothy Fain has been selected as one of Symphony magazine's
feature "Up-and-Coming" young musicians in 2006.
