WADA Awards – Spring Caucus
Information & Nomination Forms

Wisconsin Athletic Directors Association (WADA)

DISTRICT ATHLETIC DIRECTOR OF THE YEAR

DISTRICT DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARD

Each spring, usually in April, every District in the WADA holds a Spring Caucus to
discuss items of importance with its membership, and to entertain nominations for the
process of selecting two prestigious awards – the District Athletic Director of the Year
Award and the District Distinguished Service Award.

This web page provides info about those awards, as well as a link to a pdf file with
the current version of the form needed regarding candidates / nominations.

Each person who is selected as the District’s AD of the Year will then go into a pool for
the State Athletic Director of the Year Award, which is selected by a special committee
of the WADA.

All awards are presented during the annual WADA Workshop, which is held usually
in early November.  For the history of those receiving recognition by the WADA,

check out the WADA Awards page on this web site.

If you have any questions regarding these WADA District awards, or the Spring Caucus,
contact your District Rep.  To find out the date / time / site of the Spring Caucus for your
District, check the District News page of the WADA web site.
