1) Welcome by Jim Campbell, Agendas distributed, and sign-in circulated

2) Election Year Fall 2003 for District #1 Represenative

Time committment - 5 meetings per year in OCTOBER, JANUARY, MARCH, JUNE AND JULY- MEET SUNDAYS IN APPLETON AND MONDAY'S IN STEVENS POINT AT WIAA FOR SPORTS ADVISORY. PLUS NOVEMBER WORKSHOP IN CHARGE OF ALL DOOR AND VACATION PRIZE GIVE AWAYS.

3) Recruitment of Officials

-Hiring too far in advance hurts the recruitment process

-Commissioners at fault? Contact officials crew?

-VB, FB, Soccer, Crucial Need?

-Check level of officials in WIAA Register

-Try to get young people started

-VB-Varsity officials do Varsity events- New officials for JV

4) Student Athlete Eligibility Rules

-WIAA is receiving a large number of requests

-Check all schools that the student has involved in

-State form Booklet has one-

-A form that stays with the student

-Be Aware
